Let's take you on a little rewind journey to start this all off, all the way back to last season there to the 2020 Grand Final.
There's just over a minute left on the clock when Zak Hardaker's penalty goal attempt falls short in what would surely win Wigan the game.
St Helens have the full 100 metres to go if they want to win it, and when Tommy Makinson's drop-goal attempt bounces off the post as the hooter goes, it seems as though it's going to be the first grand final in English history to go to golden point.
However the drama didn't stop there, Bevan French failed to punch the ball out of play, and the 'new superstar' Jack Welsby touched down to win it for the 'Saints'.
It was rugby league at it's very best, and it focused more on how good each side could defend, this time around, you just know it's going to be different.
St Helens and Catalans have played the most attractive rugby over the course of the season, and I'm glad both of them are here because I don't think we could have a more closely matched final even if we tried.
There's going to be battles going on all over the pitch, with Walmsley and Kasiano the pick of the middles, while in the halves we'll see Jonny Lomax against James Maloney and the most exciting one has to be the Man of Steel Sam Tomkins versus the young player of the year in Jack Welsby.
Even though Kristian Woolf elected to bring Welsby off the bench against Leeds and use him as an impact, the youngster can play anywhere on the field and that's what makes the battle between the two even more intriguing.
Tomkins brings the experience to the table, and you could arguably suggest this season has quite simply been the Sam Tomkins we all know and remember from his brilliant years at Wigan.
It's going to have everything though in the game like a good grand final should and you all better strap yourselves in, because I don't see any reason why it can't be the best one yet.
