Well it's definitely something different that's for sure! A birthday in lockdown isn't something you experience every year to say the least, and throw self isolation into the mix it sounds like a great day.
But it does give me plenty of time to produce these pieces and also have a look at all the sporting action which is coming up in the next few days so, there is some positives to it all.
We'll start with rugby league which starts tonight with its first play-off fixture between the Warrington Wolves and Hull FC.
Warrington will come into the match as clear favourites and should run out winners and progress to the next round but I'm sure Hull FC will do everything they can to make it an exciting contest.
On Friday night, the second game takes place between the 2020 Challenge Cup winners Leeds Rhinos and Catalans Dragons.
Leeds should be slight favourites after putting in some good performances throughout the season but their Head Coach Richard Agar won't be present at the match after having to self isolate with fellow assistant coach Jamie Jones-Buchanan.
Catalans have put in some brilliant displays themselves but they'll need that bit more if they are going to beat the 'Rhinos' and move on into the next round.
Football sees a round of international fixtures take place and England have three games coming up in the next few days.
They face the Republic of Ireland tonight in a friendly before going on to face Belgium and Iceland in the UEFA Nations League.
Joe Gomez will miss out on the games after suffering what appears to be a serious injury in training, and James Ward-Prowse and Trent Alexander-Arnold have both withdrawn from the squad due to smaller injuries.
My local club Barrow AFC travel to Cambridge United looking to respond after their exit from the Papa John's Trophy midweek.
The 'Bluebirds' will be helped with Scott Quigley returning to full fitness, despite missing a penalty on his return the other night, the striker will be looking to get his goal scoring touch back this weekend.
In horse racing Cheltenham hold their three day November meeting throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday and it includes some exciting races.
All eyes will be on the rematch between Easysland and Tiger Roll for sure with Tiger Roll looking for revenge as he heads towards another Grand National tilt.
The other feature races are the Paddy Power Gold Cup which is ran over fences and the Greatwood hurdle in what proves to be a cracking weekend of jump racing on display.
So there you go, some must watch sport this weekend and even without the Premier League we still have plenty of exciting games and races taking place and with The Masters also starting as well, there's plenty to view.
