It's definitely starting to feel more like Christmas now with all the racing warming up before the big day at Kempton on Boxing Day.
This Saturday sees the Tingle Creek Chase take place at Sandown and also the Henry VIII Novice Chase which should see a lot of high quality action and I'm going to look through the card and preview some of them races.
The Grade One Novices' Chase is due off at 1:50pm and we have loads of nice prospects here in this contest.
I think the age weight allowance could prove key here with Phoenix Way, Tamaroc Du Mathan and Eldorado Allen carrying 11st 2lbs around them while the 4 year-olds in Allmankind, Ga Law and Hitman get to carry 10st 10lbs.
Eldorado Allen was always going well behind Gumball at Cheltenham before Gumball fell at 2 out which left the horse to a 19 length victory.
He'll definitely give his running again and should go close even with that little extra weight but you get the feeling that it could be between Hitman and Allmankind.
Both horses were really impressive on their debuts, jumping like pros, and as long as that holds up here it should be a great battle between the two.
Hitman did make an error at two out at Ffos Las but won comfortably but the form from that day hasn't really worked out as the favourite Highway One O Two failed to produce up at Carlisle the other day as he unseated his rider.
Allmankind won at Warwick, and the second placed horse that day in Zanza won at Newbury last week and that gives him a big form boost.
He was impressive last season and if he shows up in the same form that he was in around Warwick he should take all the stopping so I think he will be the winner of this contest with Hitman being a close second.
The Tingle Creek Chase is then due off 35 minutes later and if you thought the Novice Chase was good, then this takes it to a whole new level.
There's so many good horse down here in this race despite their being only six, and I think it will be between 3 horses.
Altior is such a classy horse and as a 10 year-old he goes around again in a bid for more success.
The horse quite rightly should be favourite for the race and if he produces his best then he could well be unstoppable.
Politologue is the mount of Harry Skelton for trainer Paul Nicholls, and I think Paul's two runners in the race will be the dangers to Altior.
Skelton had a dream first ride in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham festival in March on the grey and he should prove a stern test to Altior if he gets his rhythm out in front.
The other Nicholls horse is Greaneteen ridden by the other Harry in Harry Cobden, and this horse won the Haldon Gold Cup Grade 2 Chase at Exeter on his re-appearance this season getting up on the line to win by a neck.
But I'm going to stick with Altior here because he showed last term that he still had the heart for racing and I think even at 10 years old that Nicky Henderson will still have him better than ever.
So there we go, two brilliant contests at Sandown broken down to what I think will win or at the very least go close but two winners would be nice here in what proves to be another exciting weekend of the winter jumps campaign.
